Set up IPTV on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV
Choose an IPTV player on the App Store, add your playlist on iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, and stream to the TV with AirPlay if needed.

On Apple devices, installation goes through the App Store only. Many players exist for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, with very similar setup from one platform to another.
Before you start
- Update iOS, iPadOS or tvOS from Settings > General > Software Update.
- Check the free storage: the programme guide sometimes takes several hundred megabytes.
- Have your login details ready (Xtream Codes or M3U address).
Choose a player on the App Store
Search for “IPTV player” on the App Store. Before installing, check on the app page:
- compatibility with your device (some players exist on iPhone but not on Apple TV);
- the supported format (Xtream Codes, M3U or both);
- in-app purchases: some advanced features are paid to the publisher, separately from your subscription.
Add your subscription
Open the player, choose Add playlist or Add account, then enter the details you received. On Apple TV, typing is easier with the iPhone keyboard, offered automatically when both devices are on the same network.
Watch on the TV
- With an Apple TV: install the player directly on the Apple TV; it is the most stable option.
- Without an Apple TV: some players can stream with AirPlay to a compatible TV. Quality then also depends on the Wi-Fi between the phone and the TV.
If something goes wrong
If the playlist will not load, check the server address (with or without http:// depending on the player) and the capitals in the password. For a picture that drops, see the troubleshooting guide.
