IPTV offers often look alike on paper. To compare them, rely on criteria you can check rather than on the figures highlighted in adverts.
1. Compatibility with your devices
Start with your screens. Note the brand and model of every device you plan to watch on, then check:
- that an IPTV player can be installed from the official store;
- that the provider offers a guide for that device;
- whether the chosen player requires a paid activation from its publisher.
Our list of compatible devices covers these points for each family.
2. Duration and renewal
- A short plan lets you test the service on your devices and your connection.
- A long plan reduces the number of orders to manage.
- Above all, check whether the subscription renews automatically and, if so, how to stop it.
3. Number of simultaneous screens
If several people watch at the same time on different screens, ask how many simultaneous streams the subscription allows. It is a frequent source of misunderstanding.
4. Support
Good support shows in concrete details: a clearly stated contact method, written guides, published hours. Ask a question before ordering: the quality of the answer is a good indicator.
5. Transparent terms
Read the terms before paying: exact duration, refund conditions, what is and is not included. Be wary of absolute promises such as “zero dropouts” or “every channel in the world”: no internet-based service can guarantee them, since playback also depends on your connection.
6. Your internet connection
The best service will give poor results on an unstable connection. Estimate what you need with the speed calculator before choosing.
