What makes an IPTV subscription price vary, and how to compare
Duration, simultaneous screens, apps, support: what makes the price of an IPTV subscription vary, how to compare over 12 months and which offers to avoid.

“How much is a 12-month IPTV subscription?” is one of the most common questions. There is no single price: it depends on several things you can check before paying. This article goes through them and explains how to compare two offers fairly.

What makes the price vary
Duration
This is the first factor. A long plan costs more in total than a short one, but its monthly equivalent is often lower. To compare, always divide the total price by the number of months.
Number of simultaneous screens
Some plans allow viewing on one screen at a time, others on several. A subscription for a single screen does not suit a household where two people watch at the same time: check this before comparing prices.
Content and quality
The available content and the picture quality offered (HD, Full HD, 4K) affect the price. Be wary of impressive figures that cannot be checked: a trustworthy service presents what is included before you order.
Support
Setup help, guides for each device and a quick reply when something goes wrong have real value, especially for a first setup.
Additional costs
The subscription price is not always the only cost:
- some player apps require a purchase or activation from their publisher (player apps);
- a box may be needed if your TV is old (choosing an IPTV box);
- your internet connection must keep up with the chosen quality (what speed for IPTV).
How to compare two offers over 12 months
Here is a fictional example, only to illustrate the calculation:

Offer B is cheaper per month, but you pay 600 MAD in one go. Before paying for a year, check your device’s compatibility and ask your questions: a trustworthy provider answers them before you order.
For a fair comparison, check for each offer:
- the total price and the exact duration;
- the number of screens usable at the same time;
- whether or not there is automatic renewal;
- the cancellation and refund terms;
- what is and is not included (app, support).
Offers to approach with caution
- Unusually low prices compared with other offers: they often come with an unstable service or one that disappears.
- “Lifetime” offers: no provider can guarantee a service with no time limit.
- Free codes shared online: they stop working quickly and expose you to malicious apps (why avoid free codes).
- Paying without written confirmation of the amount and duration.
- Hidden automatic renewal: read the terms before paying.
